Savatage revisit a defining era ahead of "MADNESS REIGNS FROM THE GUTTER (1990)"

Just one day before the release of their long-awaited and previously unreleased live album "Madness Reigns From The Gutter (1990)", US metal legends Savatage unveil a brand-new video for 'Gutter Ballet (Live 1990)' - a powerful visual tribute to one of the most celebrated eras in the band's history.

Far more than a standard live clip, the video serves as a unique time capsule, weaving together rare memorabilia, archival material and excerpts from the original 'Gutter Ballet' music video and live performance footage from Savatage's legendary 1990 tour. The result is a moving retrospective that captures the ambition, energy and spirit of a band at the peak of its powers.

Originally released in 1989, "Gutter Ballet" marked a turning point for Savatage. Blending heavy metal intensity with theatrical songwriting, classical influences and emotional depth, the album expanded the boundaries of the genre and cemented the band's place among metal's most visionary acts. Its title track remains one of Savatage's most iconic compositions and a cornerstone of their legacy. The video arrives as the final preview of "Madness Reigns From The Gutter (1990)", the long-lost official live recording that finally documents Savatage's acclaimed "Gutter Ballet" era on stage. Featuring the classic line-up of Jon Oliva, Criss Oliva, Chris Caffery, Johnny Lee Middleton and Steve "Doc" Wacholz, the album captures what many fans regard as the definitive chapter in Savatage's history.
