WACKEN x RANDOM: RANDOM up close at the Landgasthof Wacken!

What surprises await metalheads in 2025? We're already more than fed up with disasters and wars, but this news should sweeten the day for all of us: RANDOM have been confirmed for the WACKEN OPEN AIR (W:O:A) for the first time in history - after 40 years of preparation!

That's right - on July 30th the Landgasthof Wacken (LGH) will host the legendary Nietenpapst Fred Otto and his band; with Lemmy Lee on guitar, Mr. Jo on bass, Enrico Palazzo on vocals and star guitarist Angi Schiliró (ex-Kingdom Come) as the latest addition to the RANDOM crew on solo guitar. Combined with the performance of erotic model Mia May, this is sure to be an absolutely explosive act on the official opening day of W:O:A 2025. The band promises pure fire on stage!

"Wacken is not a festival - it's an accolade. For us as a band, it's more than just a gig: it's the place where sweat, sound and soul merge. RANDOM stands for energy, attitude and pure live passion – and that's exactly what we're bringing to Wacken," summarizes Nietenpapst Fred Otto.

Frontman Enrico Palazzo adds: "The preparations? Little sleep, lots of rehearsal time, endless discussions – classic band therapy. But in the end it's all about one thing: smashing Wacken and having fun! We rehearse like crazy, sweat like hell – and spend hours discussing the perfect set. Wacken is not a children's birthday party, so we don't deliver half-baked numbers. Full power, no bullshit – that's how we prepare. For us, it's not just a gig, it's an announcement. We bring everything with us: Energy, attitude, sweat and a real drive. We're coming to deliver – and deliver properly!"
