Mesmerizing Symphonic Metal with Talia Hoit:
20.11.2024New Album Oceans and New Video Single Release
The contracting rhythm of the low and high tides plays its archaic game of hide and reveal with us, sometimes making even long gone things reemerge. For those with an open mind and an explorative eye, however, it bears the chance for great gifts – the most precious one being its rough-natured ways of feeding directly into our very own power of creation. One perfect example of this cycle of inspiration at work is just as deep as it is playful and enjoyable: Talia Hoit's brand new album Oceans. Are you ready to dive into the multi-faceted soundscapes that lead into the heart of the sea?
Oceans will see the light on November 21st, 2024, and is Talia’s first official album release as a solo artist. The album features ten deep and personal songs, on which the soprano siren is displaying her artistic talent to the fullest, taking you on a fascinating journey through the different facets of symphonic metal. On the record, she’s being accompanied by top-notch studio musicians like Mat Plekhanov on guitar (DRAGONY), Roland Navratil on drums (ATROCITY, LEAVES EYES, EDENBRIDGE), and Max Stoner on bass and rhythm guitar. All songs on the album were produced by Talia in cooperation with Frank Pitters (VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, DEEP SUN, EDENBRIDGE), all are thematically linked to the nautical theme, and all lyrically emerged from her quill.

If you’re now filled with anticipation and don't want to wait another day, then you can breathe easy and rejoice, because the lyric video for the single Stolen (which will also be featured on the new album) has just been released! This enchanting song is about disillusionment with people who try to control and manipulate others through lies, shame, and guilt for their own personal gain. Dive into the metaphorical, mythological setting of Talia’s new single, and let her captivate you with her alluring voice, which tells of Orpheus’ melody, harps, thieves, and windows to the soul, while acting as an echo of hopeful euphoria in these approaching gloomy times. With the single Stolen, Talia provides a delicate taste of what her album has to offer – emotionally moving symphonic metal with lots of catchy melodies and outstanding vocal performances!
