BIOGRAPHY

Inspired by the different faces of human struggle, the music with its brutal and unapologetic force, is the product and outcome of experiences, coloured by the varying contexts, layers and intensity of a life on the move. In early 2007 long time friends, drummer Dom Mura and vocalist/guitarist Michel Gambini, decided to create Seita. They began writing some material and after the addition of Edson Munoz on guitars and Andre Sparta on bass, Seita recorded their first six tracks as a band in the 2008 self-released MCD ‘Imprint Forever’.

With the departure of Andre Sparta and arrival of new bassist Diego Gomez, Seita next recorded and released their full-length debut album entitled `Asymmetric Warfare’ (March 23, 2012), in co-operation with SAOL/cmm (DE). Mixing/Mastering was in the capable hands of Daniel Bergstrand and Rickard Sporrong (Dugout Productions), known for their work with bands like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Soilwork, In Flames and Decapitated. The band has since consistently played live shows and festivals (Zwarte Cross Festival NL/Metal Bash Open Air DE) across Europe, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Czech Republic. They also have not been limited to Europe alone, having played the main stage at one of South Korea’s major rock and metal events, Dongducheon Rock festival, as well as headlining at Asia Metal Festival and Trendkill Extreme Feast in Seoul.

In December 2012, Seita also played their first North American show on the inaugural Barge to Hell Metal cruise, sailing from Miami, Florida and sharing the stage with acts such as At the Gates, Behemoth, Exodus and Napalm Death. The band has also been the support for Sepultura, Six Feet Under, Soulfly, Pestilence, Decrepit Birth and others on their European tours. On August 5th, 2016, Seita released the single UNDEFEATED.
