ARTIST: Marius Danielsen
Marius Danielsen was born on 14th July 1988. At the age of 15, he saw Iron Maiden for the first time and when the Clansman backdrop appeared, he was sold.
Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars have always been Marius’ favorite movies, and when he saw Iron Maiden do a song about William Wallace from the Braveheart movie, he knew right there and then that this is what he wanted to do.
At the age of 17, he wrote his first Legend of Valley Doom song, aptly titled "The Legend of Valley Doom". He started building his own fantasy universe and characters.
In 2010 he joined forces with his brother and they continued to develop the project together. It would take 10 years before the first album came out, but in 2015 Legend of Valley Doom Part 1 was finally released, with Part 2 coming out in 2018.
The project has received lots of praise from around the world and Marius has been fortunate to work with some of the greatest musicians in the world on this project. He has worked with the legendary actor John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones), renowned singer such as Michael Kiske (Helloween), Tim Ripper Owens (Judas Priest), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear, Gamma Ray), Blaze Bayley (Iron Maiden), Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen), instrumentalists such as Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson), Bruce Kulick (Kiss), Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses), Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Alice Cooper), Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio) and many more!
