Steelheart conclude consulting deal with cmm

Apr 11th, 2008

Cmm arranged a consulting deal with the American Hard Rock band STEELHEART and is going to attend the band´s interests in Europe.

STEELHEART gained straight away platinum-status with their self-titled debut album in 1990. The single “I´ll Never Let You Go” attained chart number 14 and the corresponding video was played over and over again on MTV. After their second album “Tangled In Reigns” (1992) the rise was stopped abruptly, because singer Mike Matijevic was hit at the head by a falling light truss, which meant the end for the band. In 1996, Mike was back with a new line-up and the STEELHEART comeback album “Wait” was highly acclaimed in Asia. In 2001, Mike gave the singing voice to the leading actor Mark Wahlberg for the movie “Rock Star” and recorded the vocals for half of the songs of the movie band Steel Dragon.
A new STEELHEART album is already recorded and is to be released this year.
