SAXON – The Carrere Years (1979-1984)

Mar 22nd, 2012

SAXON have been one of the leading forces in British Heavy Metal for over three decades and are as active now as when they formed in South Yorkshire in 1977, releasing their 19th Studio album ‘Call To Arms’ in June 2011. The constant touring and song-writing has created one of the most loyal fanbases in rock and gathered a list of superstar fans such as Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue and even Lada Gaga.

Their first seven albums on the French Carrere label have now been amassed into ‘The Carrere Years (1979-1984)’, a four disc collection of the remastered albums, now expanded with bonus material and including an exclusive interview with the band within the liner notes.
