IRON MAIDEN enter the german album charts on the top

IRON MAIDEN entered today the German album charts at #1 with their new album “The Final Frontier”. The british band ended a 15 week on position 1 from the german act UNHEILIG.

After “A Matter Of Life And Death”  this entry is  the second straight #1 chart entry in Germany for this incredible band.

“The Final Frontier” is also the fastest selling IRON MAIDEN album in the first week of the last decade selling 50% more in the first week than their last #1 album, “A Matter Of Life And Death”, in the same timespan.
Following the airing of the “Flight 666″ documentary on the German TV channel DMAX during the “IRON MAIDEN Heavy Metal Night” the according DVD re-entered the album charts on #60.

And not only Germany is already seeing the band top the album charts with the UK, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Austria already announcing it as No 1 with many more expected as other countries announce soon. Holland and Australia also had their highest ever chart entries for Maiden with No 2 debut in each. The USA is expected for a top 5 entry on Wednesday.
