DEEP PURPLE – Stormbringer 35th Anniversary Edition

Jan 19th, 2009

The circle is almost closed (and so you could start right from the beginning soon!) – There are only two official Deep Purple albums from the early EMI years (1968-1976) missing, that have not been given the complete sound and content remastering treatment yet: “Stormbringer” from 1974, the second studio album with the Mark 3 line-up along with David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes, and “Come Taste The Band” from 1975 with guitarist Tommy Bolin from the US, who died shortly after that.

We still have to wait for the latter but “Stormbringer” will be re-released on February 20, 2009 on CD and vinyl.
