The line up of the 70000Tons Of Metal cruise is growing: Thanks to the numerous scouting parties German thrash trio Destruction, Norwegian black metal stars 1349, the also Norwegian-based Trollfest and Danish hard rockers Pretty Maids will perform on the world’s biggest heavy metal cruise – welcome aboard!
You can be assured that Destruction will live up to their name and cause total demolition on stage during their two sets on board. This will apply to Trollfest as well, when they’ll roar their folk metal over the ocean. Among many develish numbers, 1349 deserves a place at the top! Hailing from Norway, they’ll bring a frosty breeze to Jamaica! One of the sets of Pretty Maids will be entirely dedicated to their 1987 hit album “Future World” while the other one will regard their other hits, too.
The groups join the roster of altogether 60 bands such as Alestorm, Amorphis, Annihilator, Apocalyptica, Arch Enemy, Artillery, Behemoth, Blind Guardian, Cannibal Corpse, Crucified Barbara, D.A.D., Einherjer, Ensiferum, Equilibrium, God Dethroned, Grave Digger, Heathen, In Extremo, Kataklysm, Korpiklaani, Lake Of Tears, Michael Schenker’s Temple Of Rock, Municipal Waste, Napalm Death, Origin, Primal Fear, Tank, Therion, Threshold, Triosphere and Xentrix on the way from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
The original 70000Tons Of Metal cruise will put out to sea on January 22 aboard the Liberty Of The Seas and will return on January 26.
