In 2008, Iron Maiden will hit the road for the "Somewhere Back In Time" world tour, which will bring them to Europe, Asia, North and South America, and to Australia (for the first time in 15 years) as well. Maiden will exclusively play material of that time including the "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" album. The only show in Germany will be played at the Wacken Open Air. A crew of 60 workers plus 12 tons of equipment in an especially designed Boeing 757 with Bruce Dickinson as a pilot will bring them to each venue.
As a reference to the DVD-release of the classic concerts "Live After Death" and "Maiden England", the tour will be called "Somewhere Back In Time". The show is a mixture of elements of the '84/'85 "Powerslave Tour" (with Egyptian scenery) and of the '86/'86 "Somewhere In Time" tour with Eddie as a cyborg.

Ted Nugents first studio album in five years is called "Love Grenade", and is a tonal attack on body, esprit and soul. With the future classic "Stand" and the re-recording of the 40-year-old Amboy Duke evergreens "Journey To The Center Of The Mind", this is the ultimate Nuge-record. In the fifth decade of his highly hairdressed Motor City Madness, Ted Nugent shows no sign of weakness. All those who doubt this fact should take a look at the cover-artwork and the songtitles: This piece of art definitely is nothing for softies! The European version includes two live bonus tracks from the Sweden Rock Festival: A live version of the brand new "Still Raising Hell" and one of his classic "Cat Scrath Fever".

The organ is back! There is only one man who can play it like this. And still does. His name: Jon Lord. The man who was the co-author of all-time rock-classics like "Smoke on the water" and "Child in time" is back, after having left Deep Purple in 2002.
Together with Bob Daisley (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Uriah Heep), he now releases a CD called "Danger: White Men Dancing", a hommage to the pioneer of Blues, Willie Dixon, filled with Blues Rock and illustrious guests like Ian Gillan, Jimmy Barnes and Jeff Duff. The name of the band: THE HOOCHIE COOCHIE MEN.

The cmm W. Rott crew is back from the holy fields of the Wacken Open Air, where close to everybody of our crew had been from Thursday on. Seperated in several teams, we took care of the distribution of the video material all-around-the-clock. Furthermore, on all festival days we helped Overkill coordinate their uncountable interview dates. The business resort camp had also been faithfully coordinated by us, and has proven to be a succesful accomodation possibility next to the festival area. We would like to say "Thank you" to all media and business partners for their big interest and the great cooperation.
See you next year in Wacken - Rain Or Shine!!!
