The release date for IRON MAIDEN’S highly anticipated new studio album THE FINAL FRONTIER is now confirmed for Monday 16th August (Aug 17th in the USA). The new album artwork has just been unveiled on their website www.ironmaiden.com  and was illustrated by Melvyn Grant. We proudly announce that the Spanish metalheads of HATENATION have signed with SAOL.
Hatenation was born from the band Afterlife. They recorded their first EP in 2009 which became one of the best EPs in Spain that year. In 2010 the band has been preparing an extended tour around Spain that lasts until December 2010.
HATENATION starts to record their first album which is called "Blacklist" in July 2010 and the album will be released in October 2010 via SAOL / H’Art / Zebralution.

EarMUSIC will publish the whole Back Catalogue of SAVATAGE within this year and will bring back a mile stone to all metal fans for a fair price!

SAVATAGE didn’t know any limits concerning how Heavy Metal should sound like just like with their eighth albvum “Edge Of Thorns” (1993) which is rated as the best Heavy Metal album ever. It is indeed straighter and harder than its two predecessors “Streets” and “Gutter Ballet” but contains a lot of piano elements, moving lyrics and vocals to get under your skin which provides the album a wonderful and unique mix of feeling and hardness.

Ronnie James Dio died yesterday, May 16th, 2010 at 7.45 am due to stomach cancer. He was one of the greatest heavy metal singers of the 20th and 21st century and a charismatic and indigenous person. His wife and manager Wendy said:

“Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal... with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever. Wendy“

We will always remember you. We are losing not only a great artist , he was a great personality, too!

Close to the weekend we can present you the latest SAOL band. DISCREATION, which means five guys from Hesse, Germany. The band plays finest Death-Metal and will kick you right in your face! After their first record “Order To Advance” the guys got down to work much more professional and it seems that they are ready to cause a sensation within the scene!

The album will feature guest-vocals of DISBELIEF-singer Karsten Jäger.

The second record is called "Withstand Temptation" and will be released on 06/25/2010 via SAOL/H'Art/Zebralution.

Next Monday, the Industrial metalheads of PARITY BOOT will support the American Thrash legend HEATHEN at their show in Hamburg’s club Logo. The five guys from the Californian Bay Area have their release of 2009, “The Evolution Of Chaos”, on board and PARITY BOOT will show you how to rock with their debut album “Into Nothing”.

On June 17th, 2010 the Hardrock and Heavy Metal film “SCHWERMETALL – DER FILM” will premiere. Countless bands, labels, magazines and festivals have worked together for that film and our SAOL band GUN BARREL worked at it as well.

IRON MAIDEN will play the first part of their “Final Frontier World Tour” with an exclusive show  at the Auditorio Marina Sur in Valencia, Spain on Saturday, August 21st.
A Special Guest will be announced later.
