Band: DEEP PURPLE Medium / Title: CD / "Singles & E.P. Anthology ’68-‘80” Release date: 09.04.2010 Label: EMI

DEEP PURPLE lovers watch out: the new compilation „Singles & E.P. Anthology ’68-‘80” is not only an excellent profile of the band history on EMI starting with 'Hush' (by the way, this is a cover version of Joe South), the 1968 published song from 'Shade Of Deep Purple' but also the final regular single 'Gettin' Tighter' from spring 1976. This was the time guitarist Tommy Bolin left the band after they finished their studio album 'Come Taste The Band' with the so called Mark-4-lineup. He just got in the band 1975. 

This double CD package offers some rare tracks and various song versions that never saw laser lights before like the studio outtake ‘Painted Horse’ of the ‘Who Do We Think We Are’-sessions or the two BBC records of 1969 (‘The Bird Has Flown’) and 1970 (‘Grabsplatter’), which has only been released on vinyl 1980. The booklet attends again  with great liner notes of the ultimate DEEP PURPLE expert Simon Robinson plus rarely available single covers.

Band: SAXON Medium / Titel: CD / "Innocence Is No Excuse“, "Rock The Nations”, “Destiny” VÖ: 29.01.2010 Label: EMI

Apart from Iron Maiden and Def Leppard, SAXON is one of the most popular bands among the NWOBHM ('New Wave Of British Heavy Metal') which means hard rock music since the 70s until today with many new impulses and hymns. The band about Biff Byford is playing gigs in Geramny again since march 2010. They made their debut album in 1979 and got to the top by issuing about two dozen studio- and live albums in the past 20 years. Meanwhile, the most of them are appertaining to the EMI catalogue.
 
The sound improvement on these digital remastered albums is going on in january with three CDs. The ones that were released in the mid-80s (“Innocence Is No Excuse” (1985), “Rock The Nations” (1986) and also the album "Destiny", released in spring 1988) will be published with comprehensive and previously unreleased bonustracks: 7inch versions, B-sides, remixes, live tracks from the 'Hammersmith Odeon', London, from Madrid or the 'Reading Festival' - all in all 20 tracks evenly spread on 3 CDs. The appropiate booklets along with liner notes and an assortement of rare photos were chosen in association with lead singer Biff Byford.

Band: HARTMANN Medium / Title: "III" Release: 13.11.2009 Label: Sony Music

On 13th November 2009 the third studio album "III" will be released. It will contain 11 tracks and it affiliates seamlessly to its forerunners. All in all it will be more brutal and modern with songs like "I won´t get fooled again", "Broken Down" and the duet "Warsong" (guest singer Tobias Sammet (Edguy, Avantasia)). Besides this more brutal songs There will be also some midtempo-rocker like "From outta space" or typical Hartmann ballads like "Forgotten innocence" as well. Oliver Hartmann produced "III" in cooperation with Sascha Paeth, who already did the final mix of the first two studio albums.

"World Painted Blood" will initially ship with four special collector's edition CD covers. 

Each of the four covers will display one-fourth of a continental map illustrated with human skulls and bones; when placed together, the four images form a complete and grisly map of the world.

All four of the initial CD packages will include a special blood-red, see-through top panel with the map displayed beneath it.

The "World Painted Blood" Deluxe Edition will have its own special layout of the map cover art and will be in a double-digipak housed in a blood-red, see-through plastic sleeve. The Deluxe Edition will include the "World Painted Blood" CD, the "Playing With Dolls" DVD, a 20-minute animated graphic novel featuring music from the album (including part of a new non-album song), and an expanded booklet.

Namegiver and centre of the band from hanover is guitarist and singer Peter Ladwig. He started his career with Hanovers Hard Rockers of Fargo, who changed their name into Victory in 1984. In 1983 after recording 4 albums, Peter Ladwig has left the band. After being member of some cover bands, Peter Ladwig wanted to create man-made and own music. He contacted his former drummer Rudi Kaeding and his brother Matze Kaeding and the band Ladwig was born in 2005.  

"Here We Stand" will be released on 23rd October 2009 on SAOL / H´Art / Zebralution.

After Oliver Hartmann left At Vance, he focussed on his project HARTMANN, the first album "Out In The Cold" was released in 2005. The album has been entitled as "Album of the month" several times and the Australian Melodic-Rock Magazine has chosen "What If I" for "Song of the year" and "Into the light" for "Ballad of the year".

From the splendor of lightning-fast riffs and hyper-speed drumming, to the heavy and powerful grooves that slash through the moshpit - THE FADING’s live show is an event to remember. Integrating influences from the veterans of the Swedish scene and the modern new-school American metal heroes, THE FADING delivers a violent and furious metal attack, sure to leave the crowd beaten and bruised.

The guys started shredding the stages across their homeland Israel in 2003 under the name Excessum. Following the band's name change into THE FADING in 2006, two independent EPs were released in the next couple of years, gaining the band support from the local crowd and positive press coverage.

In 2008 THE FADING was awarded the winner of the annual Metal Battle, which took place at the famous Wacken Open Air Festival, granting the band a record deal with Wacken Records. The guys then headed into the Underground Studios in Sweden to record their debut full-length release with veteran producer Pelle Saether (Ebony Tears, Necrodeath, Carnal Forge) and went on to mix the album in the Abyss Studios with Jonas Kjellgren (Scar Symmetry). The artwork was provided by the talented British artist Colin Marks (Nevermore, Strapping Young Lad, Aborted). The Summer 2009 will mark the release of THE FADING's much-anticipated debut full-length album "In Sin We'll Find Salvation".

PARITY BOOT from Hamburg get in the ring in order to smack your face. The boys from Hamburg play Crossover since the mid 90´s. After two demo CDs and a live album, which was distributed by the band itself, the first EP was released in 2004 which was critically acclaimed both in print and online magazines.
