Queensrÿche has partnered with Capitol/EMI for the September 14 release of an expanded 20th Anniversary Edition of the band’s triple platinum-certified breakout album, Empire. The new 2CD and digital packages both include the remastered album, featuring six hit singles, including the #1 smash “Silent Lucidity,” as well as 13 bonus tracks, among them 10 previously unreleased live performances recorded in 1990 at London’s Hammersmith Odeon. The 2CD package is presented in a lift-top box with five postcards, a fold-out poster and a booklet featuring rare photos from the band’s personal archive.
HATRED reached many goals in their young Thrash career. After their well received album "Madhouse Symphonies" (2008) they gained a live slot at the Desert Rock Open Air in Dubai in 2009. With "Mosh Crüe" they won the "Brütal Legend Contest" whereby this song became the official hymn of the game. Now they signed up with SAOL to release their new album "Destruction Manual" on October 29th. Title and cover promise a merciless but also varied Thrash album!
After extensive excursions on the North American West Coast, 70000TONS OF METAL, The World's Biggest Floating Heavy Metal Festival sailed back South, crossed the Panama Canal once more and headed back to Tampa, Florida where it is hot like everywhere else these days. It seems what they need to find is an ICED EARTH! 21 out of 40 bands on board... who will be next?

IRON MAIDEN are delighted to announce the premiere on www.ironmaiden.com of the “Director’s Cut” video for the title track from their new album, ‘THE FINAL FRONTIER ’. The album is due for release on August 16th and the video is an edit of the opening song on the album, entitled ‘Satellite 15… The Final Frontier’.
The video, which can be viewed now at www.ironmaiden.com, was produced by award-winning production company Darkside Animation Films. Darkside’s creative team includes animators who've created effects for feature films including ‘Lost in Space’, ‘Gladiator’ and ‘Black Hawk Down’. The script was written by the director of BBC Radio's ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy’, and the live action was co-ordinated and directed by Nick Scott Studios.

On a late night in the spring of 1827 the city of Vienna is experiencing the largest lightning storm in its long history. Within a large disheveled room, Ludwig Von Beethoven is slumped over his piano and on the piano sits the just completed manuscript for his Tenth Symphony. It is his final, and he is certain, his greatest work. As the clock strikes midnight, Mephistopheles appears to collect the great composer’s soul. Looking into the abyss of eternity Beethoven is horrified but the devil has an offer and the bargaining begins…
So begins Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s (TSO) performance of “Beethoven’s Last Night.” TSO, one of the most successful rock projects in North America – is an unprecedented mixture of progressive rock and orchestral music along with elements of theater. Following their triumphant debut of “Beethoven’s Last Night” in the U.S., the band will bring their unique brand of “rock theater” to Europe. Paul O’Neill’s timeless story of Beethoven’s struggle with the tough choices the composer has to make with what will be his life’s legacy, features music by O’Neill and his cohorts legendary Savatage frontman Jon Oliva, and Robert Kinkel.

Brazilian-based TORTURE SQUAD who has been founded in the early 90s have finished the recordings for their sixth album. Now everything is ready to release their new thrash hammer.
2006 was the first time they came to Europe and when they got their first fans. Already one year later they toured the European continent again.
