Striker add to the band crew of 70000Tons Of Metal 2017!Jan 23rd, 2017
In less then two weeks the world’s biggest heavy metal cruise sets sail for the seventh time – and new bands are continuously added to the already great line up. After our progressive rockers of Cryptex, SAOL’s spearhead Striker will also be part of the metal crew of 60 bands that will make the Independence Of the Seas a paradise for metalheads from all over the world.
There’s no holding back for Striker lately: They count as Canada’s hottest new metal act and their upcoming album “Striker” (release: 24.02.2017) seems like cut from the former glory of all things heavy metal. The four Canadians are currently touring North America and will support Sonata Arctica on their European tour from February to April 2017 – after proving the 3000 “sailors” aboard the cruise that they live by the motto full speed or no speed with one of their energetic live performances and thereby showing why they are one more promising candidate for the Cripper Award. The prize was created by fans to honor the best up and coming artist of the cruise and the list of this year’s nominees is – once again – exceptional.
By the way – the new lyric video for Striker’s new single “Born To Lose” is the perfect instrument to kill time until February 2:
